To all you obama supporters out there

To all you obama supporters out there this is an editorial from my good friend Pastor Robert Vandenbosch the advocate for Christianity in Springfield, IL. These are facts not fiction so if you can take your MSNBC, Huffington Post obamablinders off for a few minutes you owe yourself and your country a few minutes to read with an open mind. When obama was an Illinois state senator he voted against the repeal of post birth abortion FOUR times and was the ONLY senator to make a speech in favor of it. Rev Bob also has said that when obama was in the state senate he told Rev Bob our Christian advocate in Springfield that they didn’t see eye to eye on ANYTHING! CCA/CCM Logo

Election Editorial

Dear Friends and Partners in Ministry,

We face a pivotal time in America with the elections next Tuesday. This next election will shape the next twenty years of United States History–or more! The next president of the United States will appoint two or three new Supreme Court Justices, determining the future of the pro-life movement and the protections of marriage.

Religious Freedom has been under attack in the United States during the last four years, from the very first day with the Executive Order from the President overturning the Mexico City Policy. From that moment on, our President forced all taxpaying Americans to fund abortions overseas. Moving on to the National Healthcare legislation, all Americans will be forced to pay for abortions in the United States under this plan, regardless of the President’s promise to pro-life democrats that he would issue an Executive Order to make sure abortions were not paid for in the new healthcare plan. The language of the legislation will drive the policy–and abortions are covered under the legislation!!!

From the very beginning, during the last presidential race, President Obama was disrespectful of Christians stating that they “cling to guns or religion”. In February 2009, the President announced his plans to revoke the “right of conscience” which protected medical workers from being forced to participate in medical procedures which violate their faith. On seven different occassions, the President ommitted the phrase about “the Creator” when quoting the Declaration of Independence.

In April of 2011, the President urged passage of a non-discrimination law that did not contain hiring protections for religious organizations, instead trying to force them to hire according to the dictates of federal mandates instead of hiring according to their conscience. Then in December of 2011, the President blasted religious beliefs in other countries that were an obstacle to the radical homosexual agenda.

The President has not only come out in favor of same-sex marriage, but also opposed legislation to protect the rights of conscience for military chaplains who refuse to do same-sex marriages. The litany of positions contrary to biblical principles goes on and on–while the President at the same time has repeatedly shown preferential treatment for Muslims and Muslim nations.

Recently a man told me that he could not vote for Romney as president because he could not vote for someone on the basis of voting for the “lesser of two evils.” Because man is a sinner by nature, every time we vote, we vote for the lesser of two evils.

God has given us a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. We have a stewardship given by God which requires us to participate in government. If we fail to participate, we are giving up the future of our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. That is why I am urging you to make sure you get to the polls next Tuesday. If you live in Illinois, early voting is open until Saturday, November 3.

Remember the words of Benjamin Franklin when he was asked while leaving the Constitutional Convention what sort of government they had given us. His reply? “A republic, if you can keep it.” Be faithful in the stewardship God has given you and help preserve our freedoms for the next generation of Americans.

In His Service,
